The use of Sentinel lymph node and lymphatic mapping in Gastric Cancer is relatively easy, and cheap method for know the status of the peri and extraperigastrics nodes.

If this technique proves in the future with larges series, high sensibility will be a good alternative, with less morbidity/mortality than routinely D2 lymph node dissection.
